高火科技廟
Kaohsiung Station Technology Temple

車站是一座城市的舞台，展現了所認同的價值。過去台灣聚落最重要的公共空間就是廟埕廣場，侯林團隊結合台灣都市設計團隊與歐洲多媒體藝術先驅Urbanscreen，提出「高火科技廟」的概念，以共時、共鳴、共感作為城市策展主題，六項公共藝術「聽蒸氣」、「看時間」、「掛燈籠」、「停樹下」、「染色彩」以及、「映回憶」：作品獨立設置，又能相互連結演出，就像是廟會拚場，激發不同交流、創造三公頃共感空間，創造高雄車站下一個百年回憶。




A train station is a city's stage, showcasing the values it identifies with. In the past, the most important public spaces in Taiwanese settlements were temple plazas. The Hou Lin team, in collaboration with the Taiwan Urban Design Team and European multimedia art pioneer Urbanscreen, proposed the concept of a "Technology Temple. They chose simultaneity, resonance, and empathy as city curatorial themes. Six public art pieces: "Steam Locomotive," "I See Time," "Lanterns," "Sound Forest," "Competition of Colors," and "Genius Loci" are installed independently, yet can also interactively link to create performances. It is similar to the competitive atmosphere of a temple fair, stimulating various forms of interaction and creating a three-hectare empathetic space, crafting the next hundred years of memories for the Kaohsiung Station.
